About Psychological Testing

Psychological testing is an individualized assessment. It is comprised of a clinical interview and various psychological tests that reveal various cognitive and emotional characteristics of the person. Neuropsychological testing also involves looking at additional abilities such as language, memory, attention, processing speed, and executive functioning. The purpose of testing is to gain insight into how a person processes their world. and where the individual is struggling. Academic, social, and treatment recommendations are developed into a treatment plan based on test results. Testing takes a few hours and will be determined in collaboration with the client.
